Nanosafe2

 

Nanosafe2 is a program backed by the European Commission within the 6th FPRD (Framework Program for Research and Development).
 
Arkema plays an active role in this program, which was launched in 2006.
 
The objective of the project is to identify risks related to the entire nanoparticles production chain, and to develop safer production processes.

Nanosafe2 has been split into 4 sub-projects:

 

  • Nanoparticle detection and characterization technique based on applications,
  • Nanoparticle toxicology,
  • New technologies minimizing exposure of personnel and dissemination in the environment,
  • Circulation of the results obtained and training of personnel.
